Karen is a City trained employment solicitor and is part of Walbrook Law’s specialist settlement agreement team. She acts for employees and senior executives in the negotiation of their severance packages and advises on settlement agreements. She helps her individual clients understand their rights and helps them achieve the best possible terms on exit.
Karen has a pragmatic, sensible and cost sensitive approach and regularly acts for employees who have been referred to her because she provides practical advice in a timely and cost effective way that best meets her clients’ needs.
She also acts for both employers and employees in the negotiation and drafting of employment contracts and helps employers in the preparation of the full range of employment documentation (for example, offer letters, contract variations, staff handbooks, disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities policies and flexible working rules).Karen has established an excellent reputation for advising employer and employee clients across all sectors, with particular experience in banking, financial and professional services.
Karen trained and qualified at Olswang LLP (now part of CMS) where she worked as a solicitor in their employment team. She has also previously worked as an Associate Director in legal recruitment for EJ Legal.
